The Youth Project was set-up to provide safe spaces that support children and young people across the local area with a range of activities and projects.
We offer a whole range of activities throughout the year, from arts and crafts, sports and games, cooking, volunteering through to holiday clubs. We’re open all year round and support anyone from 7-18 years of age.
Check out some of our projects below.

volunteering & Enterprise
We really believe in the power of young people and we’re keen to encourage young people to engage in community volunteering projects and social enterprises. From helping elderly members of our community to running their own pop-up restaurant, there’s lots on offer.

Sports projects
We offer a range of sports and physical activity projects throughout the year with the aim at getting more young people moving. Sessions take place at a variety of settings and it’s not about whose the best, the fittest or the strongest, it’s about having a healthy relationship with moving.
